Dr. Lee K. Levy II is Vice Chair of Palladyne Defense. With over 34 years of experience and distinguished military service, he brings deep industry and government expertise along with global leadership in national and international security, industrial base and economic policy, government and commercial space activities, and advanced manufacturing.

 

Previously, Dr. Levy has served as CEO and Chairman of The Levy Group, LLC, providing strategic expertise in geopolitical risk, global security policy, supply chains, air, space, cyber and autonomous capabilities, as well as strategic analysis and crisis management. He was also a strategic partner to firms in the private-equity and investment-banking sectors. As a certified Corporate Director, he serves as an independent director on several corporate and nonprofit Boards of Directors. Dr. Levy is also a member of the Board of Directors of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and is the Chairman Emeritus of their Logistics Management Division.

 

During his final of multiple general-officer assignments, he served as Commanding General of the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base. In this role, he led as CEO of the Air Force’s P&L organization responsible for worldwide logistics, supply chain, sustainment, as well as maintenance, modification, repair, and overhaul (MMRO) of Air Force, other U.S. military, and allied aircraft, space, nuclear, and cyber systems. He led a 43,000-person workforce across 73 worldwide locations, generating over $26 billion in annual revenue. Over his career, he held numerous positions of increasing responsibility and commanded at every level.  

 

Dr. Levy holds a Doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership from Vanderbilt University, a Master of Science in International Relations from Troy University, a Master’s in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Louisiana State University, and a graduate certificate in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. He also completed executive programs at Harvard Kennedy School, the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, and UNC Kenan-Flagler’s LOGTECH and Enterprise Leadership programs.
