Michael Dill is Chief Operating Officer for Palladyne Aerospace & Defense. In this role, he leads the company’s operational strategy and execution across its aerospace and defense business. He brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience across both industries, with a strong track record of building high-performing teams and driving profitable growth across multiple sectors.
Prior to joining Palladyne AI, Michael served as Senior Vice President of Global Business Development, Contracts, and Strategy at Albany International. He previously held senior leadership roles at GKN Aerospace, where he served as North American President of the Aerospace Engine business, overseeing operations across 12 facilities, and at Circor Aerospace, where he led a cross-divisional operational excellence transformation and later served as Aerospace Group President. Earlier in his career, Michael was Vice President and General Manager of Shaw Aero Devices, leading the company through a successful acquisition by Parker Hannifin, after which he led a multi-site business unit. He began his career at Milliken & Company, where he advanced from engineering roles to General Manager and led the company’s largest facility to earn the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
