HARPY
Anti-Radiation Loitering Munition
Air / Naval / Land
By combining the characteristics of a UAV and a missile, HARPY can be launched without prior intelligence on the target’s location, providing unmatched flexibility for operators. As a loitering munition system dedicated to the suppression and destruction of enemy air defenses (SEAD/DEAD), HARPY serves as a strategic tool for armed forces planning strikes against anti-access/area denial (A2AD) defensive systems, showcasing IAI’s innovation in loitering munitions for precision and adaptability in evolving combat scenarios.
Highlights
- The world’s first and most operational anti-radiation loitering munition system
- Fully autonomous
- Effective in SEAD and DEAD missions
- Land/naval-based
- Operational with several Air Forces
Values & Benefits
